When a child falls ill, the doctor tailors the diet to suit their age and the nature of the illness. The food should be diverse, fresh, and prepared at the time of serving.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Every day, young patients at the City Clinical Children’s Hospital No. 16 of the Kharkiv City Council receive a varied diet consisting of fruits, salads, casseroles, steamed cutlets, baked fish, omelets, vegetable stews, sandwiches with butter and cheese. This improved nutrition has been made possible by the financial assistance provided to the hospital by the Global2000 Charity Fund for Children of Ukraine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“Since July 2022, Global2000 Charity Fund for Children of Ukraine has been providing financial support to the hospital, enabling the purchase of additional food items such as meat, fish, eggs, fruits, and dairy products. Initially, only patients in the hematology department benefited from the enhanced diet, but since January 2023, all patients in the hospital receive this support. During these challenging times for the country, when medical facilities face limited funding, the support from the foundation is crucial,” says the director, Marina Kucherrenko.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The additional nutrition support program for the children’s hospital, provided by the Global2000 foundation, is planned to continue until the end of 2023. Thanks to the generous support from donors in Austria.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
