In 2021, at the initiative of Julia Drumel, a member of the GLOBAL2000 team, and with the support of Christoph Otto, the visionary behind the project, the Austrian environmental organization founded the charity fund “GLOBAL2000 for Children in Ukraine”. The Ukrainian fund continues the long-standing Austrian tradition of assisting Ukrainian children.
Yulia Konotoptseva, a volunteer and charity worker since 2014, was appointed as the fund’s Managing Director. She is also a specialist in nonprofit Organization Management and holds a PhD in Public Administration.
The main goal of the “GLOBAL2000 Children of Ukraine” fund is to provide quick and effective assistance to Ukrainian children in need.
As of November 2022, the fund has seven programs to support children in Ukraine. Read more about them in upcoming news reports.
