Amid the turmoil caused by the enemy invasion in Ukraine, the activity of the fund has changed, but the organization’s commitment to supporting children has remained steadfast.
Since January 2022, the fund has provided assistance to the following institutions:
Novoaidar Regional Sanatorium School, which accommodates 167 children, some of whom reside at the school full-time.
Severodonetsk Regional Sanatorium School, which provides for 119 children, 64 of whom are orphans.
Rubizhne Regional Special School “Kryshtalyk,” where 172 children, mostly from socially vulnerable families, are receiving support.
Kharkiv Regional Children’s Clinical Hospital No. 1, where children are receiving medical examinations, medications, and targeted assistance in Kyiv.
Kharkiv Municipal Children’s Clinical Hospital No. 16, where children are receiving essential medication, equipment, furniture, targeted assistance, psychological support, and medical education.
In addition, the fund has equipped a room for psycho-oncologists at the 16th hospital and provided materials for children’s creativity.
Together with partners, the fund conducted a program for career guidance for teenage orphans from Severodonetsk.
In addition to the ongoing charitable programs, urgent tasks have emerged since February 24, 2022 including:
Evacuation of 73 orphaned children from Severodonetsk to Austria.
Provision of food and medication to “Kryshtalyk” (Rubizhne) as the school was located on the front line for a certain period.
Targeted assistance to children from Kharkiv, food assistance to children’s institutions, escort during evacuation, volunteer coordination.
Emergency purchase and delivery of 20 bottles of Octagam for critically ill children.
Support for the Hospital No. 16 (food, medication, fuel, generators, hygiene products, and other necessities).
Two patient monitors for the Regional Clinical Perinatal Center.
Food for the “Harmony” school in Kharkiv for children from families facing challenging life circumstances; 55 children were evacuated.
Food for large families in Bryhadyrivka – a village with 80 children that was under occupation
From January 1st to May 31st, 2022, a total of 32,660 euros were spent by the fund. We are grateful for the support of the donors from Austria because we were able to save what is most important – the children!
