The purpose of the program is to provide targeted charitable assistance to children with oncology and children from families in difficult life circumstances.
All requests for support of people in need are forwarded to us by partner charitable foundations and hospitals. Teams of volunteers and doctors know best the child’s condition as well as the family’s needs. Also, partners check documents and prescriptions, agree on the possibility of financial support and reach out to us.
On our end, we help with the purchase of medication, food, hygiene products, conducting examinations, financing medical treatment, etc.
Example:
A child with severe diabetes is under the care of the partner fund. He needs constant injections and sugar measurements. To alleviate his condition, we purchased sensors for measuring sugar and a port for medication injections. There is so much more comfort and less suffering in this child’s life.
