Miracles are done by ordinary people. We are grateful to every adult for supporting children. It is common to wrap up the year by summarizing all the important events. So, this is exactly what we’ll do.
Who we worked with:
9 non-governmental organizations (Kharkiv region)
2 children’s hospitals and a maternity hospital (Kharkiv)
3 sanatorium schools (Severodonetsk, Novoaidar, Rubizhne)
1 Mother and Child Center
1 center for social support of children and families
3 family-type orphanages
12 places of temporary settlement for IDPs with children (Lviv, Volyn, Rivne regions)
More than 5,000 children received various assistance
What we helped with:
medications as well as medical examinations, devices, equipment, and consumables;
support of the psychological service of the Children’s Hospital No.16 (Kharkiv);
grocery sets, infant and special nutrition;
furniture, blankets, pillows, bed linen;
water purification systems;
timber, heaters, generators;
home appliances;
art materials and stationery.
How much was spent:
5,335,185 hryvnias (or 150,000 euros) were donated by the Austrian people and spent on helping the children of Ukraine.
1,894,942 hryvnias (52,319 euros) were sent in the form of humanitarian cargo which arrived from the city of Vienna.
