Nadezhda established a family-type orphanage a long time ago. Together with her four children, she lived in the city of Kupiansk in the Kharkiv region. Since February 27, the city has been under Russian occupation.
Constant shelling, lack of food and water forced the mother of four to leave. While looking for evacuation options, she learned about three children in a local hospital. They were without parental care. Of course, Nadiya took the kids to her. So together, with risk to their lives, empty-handed, they fled – a mother and seven children.
