Cooperation with the “Mother and Child Center” organization

Yegorka and his mother escaped from the occupied area only in June. They spent the whole spring in the village of Bezmyatezhne in the Kupyansk district. Now it is under fire almost every day: destroyed schools, administrative buildings, and private houses. Yegorka’s mother, Svitlana, does not know whether their house is still intact.

Like others, they chose the only escape route that existed in the Kharkiv region – the so-called “green corridor”. When the family reached Kharkiv, it turned out that they had nowhere to go. ‎

“We just sat next to the nearest store and didn’t know what to do: we had no money, no acquaintances, and we didn’t know where to go. A curfew was about to begin and there was a threat of shelling. But people did not pass by. One lady told me about the Mother and Child Center in Lyubotyn. I called, and the director Maryna Vasylivna immediately came to pick us up. We were accommodated in the Center, despite the fact that Yegorka was not a baby at all. They take care of us and provide us with all we need. We are not cold. Now this is my second home and my second family.”

Our partner, Charitable Foundation “Volunteers: Adults to Children”, works with children who survived the horrors of war and are now with their mothers in the Center.

The Foundation “Global 2000 for the Children of Ukraine” supports the center. What they do to help will be posted very soon.

We believe that our defenders will soon liberate all occupied territories. Then families will return to their homes to raise their children. The little ones will smile again and make this world a better place.
